Q:You’ve been here for several months. What do you like about Chongqing?
A: I like the weather in Chongqing it is not to cold in winter also I like the spicy food.
Q:What made you decide you would become a professional cook?
A: My Family in Germany has always had hotels and restaurants so I was growing up with this profession.
Q:Who in your life has influenced your cooking the most?
A: Executive Chef Ralph Porcani, he was my Chef when was working in Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland
Q:What would be the most important tip you would give to your guests in Chongqing.
A: Always remember to use fresh food products when you cook at home, this makes sure you get the best flavor.
Q:You are currently at Harbour Plaza Chongqing. How did you decide this was the right place for you?
A: Yes I believe I make the right decision I like the Hotel and my colleges – I am very happy to the have the chance to work here in Harbour Plaza Chongqing.
Q:Which foreign country (or region) do you most enjoy eating in?
A: Chinese and Italian Food
Q:Is there a secret in your arsenal of ingredients?
A:Always use the best ingredients
Q:Is there a food you can’t bring yourself to like?
A: Seafood
Q:What’s the most common mistake people make in this business?
A: Consistency is very important in Hotel industry, not keeping your standard every day is a common mistake people make. You do you have to check your product very day to make sure your standard is high
