In just its first year, the 2009 Zebra Music Festival saw a record number of participants and quickly gained the reputation as one of the best outdoor music festivals of the year.
The tradition continues during China’s Labor Day Holiday (May 1-3), when the Zebra Chengdu Music Festival will once again be held at Poly 198 Tulip Park, near the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This year, the festival is organized by Zebra Media in conjunction with the Chengdu Municipal External Foreign Cultural Exchange Association, Chengdu Xindu Distrist, Chengdu Media Group, the Chengdu Visual and Cultural Communications Company Ltd., and of course an assembly of talented artists and performers.
Over these 3 days, the Zebra Music Festival fires Chengdu up into a massive carnival, a place where people can eat and play while witnessing incredible musical performances on multiple stages. The revelry is enough to get even the pandas shaking a tail feather!
