Changsha is the capital of Hunan Province and also its center of politics, economic, science and technology. It is among the first announced 24 historic and cultural cities, one of the first batches of tourism cities opening to outside as well as core city of economic integration of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan. According to the government website, Changsha has established “sister citiy” relationships with 13 domestic cities and 13 overseas cities in 12 countries and trading relationships with 158 countries and regions all over the world. 89 Top-500 enterprises have set up their workshops or branch offices and more than 2,000 foreign-funded companies have been established in Changsha. At present, Changsha owns the exclusive bonded logistic center in Central China and has become one of the ten pilot cities in China for logistics and distribution and an important port-city for the export in Central China.
